Abstract
Exercise electrocardiography has been widely used as a screening test for detecting coronary artery disease. We reviewed 119 patients with chest pain who underwent treadmill exercise electrocardiography and coronary angiography within 3 months
interval
at Dong-A University Hospital from July. 1992 through April, 1994. The results showed that the sensitivity was 76.4% and the specificity was 62.1%. ST segment change did not localize the site of diseased coronary artery except ST change in V1-V3,
but
the severity of the coronary artery, disease and the prognosis of the patient of this test can be improved by defining the configuration and timing of the ST changes. Types of CT segment depression didn't show difference between multivessel
diseases and
single vessel disease, which result requires evaluation.
